Accessibility information for our services

This information describes how Hotel Goldene Rose’s digital services take account of the requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG).

General description of the services

This website provides information about the hotel, its rooms and offers. You can send a non-binding room inquiry or general contact request, request a voucher, and use the embedded online booking service to search for available rooms and prices and complete a booking.

How to use the services

  • To request a room, open the room inquiry, choose travel dates if required, and enter the contact details marked as required.
  • To send a general message, use the contact form.
  • To request a voucher, open the voucher inquiry and enter the voucher value, recipient details and contact details.
  • In the online booking service, select travel dates, guests and an available offer, then follow the displayed steps to complete the booking.

Required fields are marked with an asterisk and are technically identified as required. A status message is displayed after submission.

Accessibility requirements taken into account

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance levels A and AA and EN 301 549 as technical benchmarks for development and evaluation. Measures currently implemented include page-language identification, semantic headings and main regions on key pages, labelled form fields, native required-field identification, suitable autocomplete purposes, described date formats and success messages presented as status messages.

Full compliance of all content and functions with these benchmarks has not yet been established. Dynamic controls and complete user journeys continue to be evaluated and improved as part of the current technical remediation.

Third-party online booking service

The online booking service is embedded as a component supplied by Interalp Touristik. Accessibility of every booking step still requires supporting evidence from the supplier and additional manual testing with a keyboard and assistive technologies. We therefore do not currently claim full conformance for this component.

Evaluation and ongoing updates

The main inquiry and booking journeys are reconsidered against the benchmarks above when technical changes are made. Identified barriers are prioritised in the technical remediation. This information is updated when the services, applicable requirements or verified evaluation status change materially. Complete manual assistive-technology testing and evidence for the Interalp booking service remain outstanding.
