Highline 179 - Longest suspension bridge of the world

Everyone who has been on the B179 has probably seen the free suspension bridge hanging in a dazzling height connecting the ruins of Ehrenberg with Fort Claudia. The suspension bridge for pedestrians has been dubbed "highline179).  The name puts emphasis on the name of the famous high pass B179 which is known far across the boundaries of Tirol. Since November 2014 courageous pedestrians can test their resistance to vertigo on highline179.

If looking at the bridge is all you can manage a stop at the hermitage Landgasthof Klause is waiting for you. Further you can visit the exhibition "The last wildling" or the museum Burgenwelt Ehrenberg. Further information about the history of Burgenwelt Ehrenberg, the museum and the nature exhibition is available at "Ruine Ehrenberg".
